Welcome! ![]() This is a secondary web page maintained by the Upward Bound Programs at Morehead State University. What are the Upward Bound Programs? Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math Science are college access programs designed to help high school students succeed in their precollege performance and ultimately in their higher education pursuits. The Upward Bound Programs at Morehead State University operate four grants. Two classic Upward Bound programs and two Math Science programs. The main difference between these two programs is that those interested in joining Math Science must have an interest in a STEM career. You do not have to have an interest in a STEM career to join the classic program. We serve 334 students in 18 schools in 17 counties. If you are a student at one of these high schools you may be eligible for our program. Bath, Boyd, East Carter, Elliott, Fleming, Harrison, Johnson Central, Lawrence, Lewis, Magoffin, Mason, Menifee, Montgomery, Morgan, Nicholas, Robertson, Rowan, and West Carter.
